Wayne J. Gu is a partner of JXD Law Firm. Mr. Gu graduated from Georgetown University Law Center with a J.D. degree in 1995. From 1996 to 2007, Mr. Gu served as an intellectual property and general corporate attorney in a well-known New York law firm representing corporate clients including motor vehicles, petroleum, computer, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and beverage companies. From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Gu joined a prestigious US international law firm and took charge of the establishment of the firm’s Shanghai Office. In the Shanghai Office, Mr. Gu handled business and client development and litigation relating to intellectual property and general corporate matters. Mr. Gu is well-experienced in the fields of intellectual property and corporation laws. Mr. Gu provides legal consultation services on intellectual property, corporation laws, cross-border transactions, incorporation of foreign companies, reorganization, IPR, and M&A to foreign companies in China.
